Tim and Beth Hodges felt the Elkin area needed a locally owned, modern funeral home to better serve the people of their community. In 1998 Hodges Funeral Home, Inc. was established. Hodges Funeral Home is located at 560 Highway 268 West in Elkin. The facility has three receiving rooms, a 225 seat chapel and ample well lit parking. In October of 2000 Hodges Funeral Home acquired Grandview Tri-County Funeral Home formally Alexander-Church-Kennedy Funeral Home which was located on West Main Street in Elkin.
